Oatmeal Stout - Oatmeal  Heavy (1050)   

  2 lb Pale malt

   5 oz Roast barley

   2 oz Wheat malt

   12 oz Scots Porridge oats

   1 oz Fuggles (Goldings late add)                                   

 Dry Stout – Ushers Stout

  (1056) Durden Park

 18 oz Pale Malt;   2 oz Crystal Malt

  6 1/2 oz Carapils;  2 oz Brown Malt

  4 oz Black Malt;   2 oz Brown sugar

  2 oz Amber Malt;  1.3 oz Fuggles Hops


Porter (B&H recipe 2014) (1070)


2lbs 2oz Pale Malt                   Mash @ 65°C for 1½ hours

8oz Brown Malt                       Sparge and Boil with hops 1½ hours

4oz roast barley                        Late add hops last 5 minutes of boil

7oz Demerara sugar                 Cool rapidly and pitch yeast

Main boil 18gm Fuggles           Bottling Gravity1.016

Late add 5gm Fuggles              Mature 6 months in bottle

Good quality Ale yeast
